Microneedling is a minimally-invasive treatment which is sometimes referred to as “collagen-induction therapy.” In a professional microneedling treatment, a pen-like tool containing many small needles is applied to the skin to create controlled micro-injuries. Allow yourself several days post treatment to recover depending on how aggressive your treatment is. Some common side effects can include redness or slight swelling.
