Botox vs Dysport
A popular debate when it comes to injectables is whether or not one should use Botox or Dysport. We have the easy answer, BOTH! As confusing as it may seem, there is little to no difference between the two. Both have been around for many years and work in the same way to treat the wrinkles of movement. So then what’s the difference? That all lies in how the injector preps and injects the product as unit dosage measures slightly differently, and they have ever so slightly different make-ups. This is why we always recommend seeing an experienced injector, such as ours, to achieve the same results with either product.
We find, that Dysport tends to take effect within 5-7 days and 7-10 for Botox and we recommend to schedule a touch up after 2 weeks to ensure desired results are reached and a visit every 3 months for a new treatment to keep you looking fresh and wrinkle-free! By sticking to a quarterly treatment schedule, this will maximize your results, minimize wrinkles from developing and creating lines that need to be treated via other modalities, and we even offer in-house incentives.
